Development of a telegram bot and miniapp for doctors specializing in the management of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension

M-Social Digital Production Agency has developed a closed Telegram bot and a miniapp (mini-application) designed only for doctors involved in the management of patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

The main goal of the project is to provide doctors with centralized access to key work resources, including:

  • diagnostic tools;
  • current regulatory documents;
  • clinical guidelines.

 

Features

 

One of the main components of the project is a flexible and secure user verification system:

  • Subscribers of a closed Telegram channel receive automatic access to the bot and miniapp without the need for re-authorization.
  • Other specialists undergo a two-level verification:
    • Automatic verification when loading from the CRM client (a list of trusted medical staff).
    • Manual moderation: if a user is not found in the list, they are displayed in the admin panel with the status "under moderation", where they can be accepted or rejected, and their application is also sent to the administrator in the bot-verifier.

 

Functional Mini-Application

 

The miniapp, launched inside Telegram via WebView, includes:

  • Interactive useful recommendations
  • Mortality risk assessment calculators (for 3 and 4 strata)
  • Checklists:
    • Primary diagnosis of PAH (Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension).
    • Dynamic monitoring.
  • Regulatory documentation (Federal Laws, decrees, orders of the Ministry of Health).
  • Useful resources.

Special attention is paid to practical use: the results of filling out checklists are automatically converted into a PDF document that can be downloaded.

 

Technologies

 

  • Backend: Java, Vaadin, PostgreSQL.
  • Frontend: ReactJS
  • Adaptability: support for mobile devices (iOS 17+, Android 12+) and WebView engines (Chromium, WKWebView).

Yandex.Metrica is also integrated into the project for user behavior analytics. All internal screens are protected from indexing via robots.txt and from access by unverified users outside Telegram.

The project helps doctors make informed, effective decisions quickly and accurately.
